Dr. Alison Hitz

As a mother of three, Dr. Alison Hitz truly understands the concept of Family Medicine and enjoys treating the family unit, from pediatrics to geriatrics. “I find family medicine, preventative medicine and acute medicine to be personally rewarding.”

Dr. Hitz was also born into a military family and has lived in California, Texas, Virginia, Georgia and Florida.

Dr. Hitz was a Lewis Gale scholar at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA and graduated summa cum lade in 1995 with a BS in biology from Kennesaw State University. She completed her Family Medicine residency at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville where she completed three years of comprehensive training including pediatrics, internal medicine, sports medicine, women's health and many other subspecialties.

When she's not helping patients, Dr. Hitz enjoys spending time with her family, decorating, scuba diving, biking and baking.

Wynette Revell, ARNP

Wynette Revell, Nurse Practitioner

Wynette Revell obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing from University of North Florida. Post graduation, she was employed at Memorial Hospital of Jacksonville in the Critical Care Unit. Her experience as a Registered Nurse also included geriatric care, ventilator weaning, pulmonary rehab and physical rehab at Specialty Hospital of Jacksonville.

As a Nurse Practitioner, Wynette has worked in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and returned to Family Practice in 2006. She is board certified in Family Practice and enjoys the various challenges that Family practice presents. She is pleased to offer bio-identical hormone treatment options to our patients who have been looking for a safer, more natural treatment to Hormone Replacement Therapy.

Wynette is a long term resident of Jacksonville, but was born and reared in south Georgia. In her spare time, you will find her on her family farm in Georgia, tending to cows, goats and horses. She also enjoys the beach, traveling, reading and attending church.

Wynette is excited to “be back with HCA” and looking forward to seeing old friends.
